In the first deal of the day the 'Pigs add JoJo Reyes to the rotation for 60 and just moments ago added Luis Rodriguez and sent very solid reliever Joe Nelson to the Gothams.
Rodriguez will likely assume the utility role and the 'Pigs will look to find a platoon split for the season and will prioritize finding a 1B!

Rumor: JoJo Reyes to the Lehigh Valley?
Rumor has it that JoJo Reyes may be heading to the Lehigh Valley as the #4 starter in their rotation. JoJo would need to pass a physical but the details of the deal are not yet known.

'Pigs trade for Big Papi
The Ironpigs dealt SS Ryan Theriot to the Red's for DH David Ortiz. "We believe that David will fit in quite nicely in our lineup between Grady and Bobby. It was tough to give up Ryan but with Jose filling the SS hole for many years we just didn't have a place for him and didn't want to hold back his progress" said 'Pigs GM Jeremy Byrd.
The 'Pigs are still looking to fill holes most notably at 1B, 3B and to anchor the bottom of the rotation.

Pre-Season Plan
New to the RMLBB, the Lehigh Valley / Allentown Ironpigs (formerly Captains) expect to be able to improve on last years 69-93 record through Free Agency and trades. The 'pigs have some cash available and will look to improve upon their pitching and will look to fill an offensive role either at 1B or DH.
